          NEW INDIA DIGEST stopped publication in early 2002 after 15 years.

            In this section we bring to our readers

• highlights of the last two issues of the print version - November-December, 2001, and January-February, 2002, - along with the texts of some of the articles.
• Highlights of all issues of NEW INDIA DIGEST since 1998
• Texts of three outstanding articles that appeared in the journal.

            We also reproduce the following:

• The first instalment of comments from readers on hearing of the closure of the journal
• Results of the last two quizzes sponsored by the Limca Book of Records and Asian Leather Ltd., Kolkata, in NEW INDIA DIGEST, as also names of the prize winners.
• Names of those subscribers to the journal who were kind enough to donate to charity the amounts due to them on account of the unexpired portion of their subscriptions
